How do fk streetlines ride
They are comfort coilovers. They don't make your ride TOO bumpy like race coilovers, but they make the car look fantastic Its a good combination for a Euro in my opinion. Other then that they ride great. Originally Posted by 4Life. Originally Posted by alphanume12ix. Originally Posted by mrf. Pardon my following questions: Please list the differences in dampers between the different model lines. I'm only interested in the adjustable kind. Do all these coilovers use Koni dampers? If so, do any use the 'shortened' damper bodies? What is the ride quality like with these dampers compared to stock and my current 15K miles old Bilstein dampers? Mine are too stiff in high-speed compression.
All other aspects of the valving seem to be fine. What spring rates do they come with or can I specify the rates I want?

If you're looking to go low, they're a good choice! I had the FK Streetlines. Put about 15k miles on them. They're a great coilover especially for the price! However, the rears didn't go as low as I would like so I sold them to a friend and they are currently on his MKVI and he loves them.
But I can't speak for the Highsports other than the fact that they do go a tad lower than the Streetlines, but I am unsure how they ride. Again, FK's are great if low is what you want! Bunnspeed said:. So, FK's for sure. Did you take any of them helpers out or did you keep everything on them? That's the info i wanted too see. Thank you sir. You were a huge help!
