Whether or not this is a problem depends on your palate and point of view. But in my opinion this is inconvenient extra work, infrustructure, and organization , nutritionally and gustatorily self-defeating who needs to eat yet more corn-fed meat nowadays?

But ultimately it strikes me as profoundly absurd that even as we struggle to promote island food self-sufficiency, and donate canned food to the hungry through our local food bank, we already have a convenient source of fine meat running around every neighborhood on the island and making a nuisance of itself in the process!
So if you love Kauai, I would humbly ask you to please consider having a wild chicken for lunch or dinner and doing us all a favor.
