Akrit was sponsored and mentored by Mr B. Rahi the Chairman of Secondary Education in Dharamshala. At 12, Akrit was studying for a science degree at Chandigarh College. His surgery video went viral on internet and so as our attention. Akrit Jaswai, one of the wonder kids in India. He walked and talked as little as a 10 month baby. Well, he was just getting started. At 5, he was reading Shakespeare writings. He was always a curious kid to learn something. He was visiting hospitals since 6 year old.

He had experience in handling the patient firsthand. So he was well known among his local place. Once, an 8 year old girl suffered from fire injury as a baby. Since it affects her daily life, her parents requested Akrit to help them with her fingers. After signing a waiver bill, he agreed to conduct the surgery for free. All necessary equipment were bought. On November 19, , Akrit Jaswai conducted this operation and released her fused fingers.

That went viral all over the world. Akrit Jaswal who proved himself by performing a surgery in the age of seven also comes in the list of seven most talented kids in the world. Although he is only 20, Akrit Jaswal is already practicing physician and has been working in the field for more than a decade.

From his childhood, his parents knew he was something special. He began walking at an early age, talked before the age of one and was said to have been reading Shakespeare when he was five. He operated successfully on the eight years old girl to release her fingers.

The surgery branded him as a local medical genius in his hometown in India. At the age of 12, Akrit became the youngest student to be admitted to medical school in India. Akrit Jaswal had a reputation, in the region, for being a medical genius. At five, he had begun reading plays by William Shakespeare and books about medicine.

His interest in surgery inflamed when the doctors in his hometown allowed him to watch and learn how to perform surgical procedures. Akrit Jaswal performed surgery on an eight-year-old girl. Though not a qualified doctor, the family requested him to perform the surgery.
